While a string of newcomers are making their inroads into the Hindi film industry, insiders have been placing their bets on Alaia F, Pooja Bedi's daughter who is quite the social media sensation.

If sources are to be believed, the young actress has not one but two big film announcements, both of which are with leading filmmakers.

Says an industry source, "Alaia F has been preparing to be an actor since she was 16. Pooja Bedi was one of the most popular stars of her generation and her daughter Alaia hasn't just inherited her stunning looks but is also a great actress with years of training."

A source close to the young actress says, "Apart from studying filmmaking and acting in New York, Alaia has also been doing performance workshops with 2 coaches. She is also training in Kathak and hip hop and is taking voice modulation classes so that she is well prepared for the 2 big projects she has signed."

Rumour also has it that the actress has been signed as the face of a leading fashion brand. All this even before she starts shooting for her films.

Adds the source, "Though she has maintained a low profile so far, Alaia wants her work to speak for itself and is taking her time to prepare for her upcoming films .She is leaving no stone unturned in sharpening every skill that a star in the making should have.That coupled with her inherent charisma and popularity over social media, makes her a dark horse to watch out for."
