Rajat Kapoor ACCUSED of SEXUAL Harassment by a Journalist: APOLOGIZES

In a shocking turn of events, a journalist has come forward and has shared her #MeToo story on Twitter. In her revelations, she has accused actor-filmmaker Rajat Kapoor of sexual misconduct with her.

The reason this news has come as a shocker is because Rajat is known for being an elegant actor and a gentleman in the industry.

But, the journalist's story has a different side to share. She has revealed that he harassed her and that she went through a lot of trauma. She also shared the reason she never opened up about it, is because she was scared of many things.

Along with her, another woman, who has worked with Rajat in an advertisement in the past, too has opened up and said that he kept calling her about the commercial and wanted an empty house to shoot only with her.

However, unlike other people who are accused, Rajat has come out in the open and apologized to everyone he hurt.

In a series of Tweet, Rajat said: "All my life I have tried to be a decent man, to do the right thing.

If however, I have slipped and through my actions or words caused pain or hurt or trauma to absolutely anybody, please accept my

apology.

I am sorry from the bottom of my heart- and sad that I was the cause of this hurt

to another human being.

If there is one thing more important to me than even my work, it is to be a good human being.

And I have tried to be that person.

And now, I will try harder."
