Ayushmann Khurrana reveals how he prepared for 'Andhadhun'

Sriram Raghavan whose upcoming directorial 'Andhadhun' will be seen starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu in the lead roles. The film will be Ayushmann's first ever thriller. The actor has made a special place for himself in Bollywood by impressing the audiences with different theme movies such as Vicky Donor, Bareilly Ki Barfi and many more.

The trailer of Andhadhun is quite impressing and Ayushmann is seen playing the role of a blind pianist. The actor has a very busy schedule as his two movies are releasing this month 'Andhahdhun' and 'Badhaai Ho'. He is busy with the movie promotions.

Recently in an interview, when Ayushmann was asked how did he prepare to get into his character? to which the actor answered, " I wanted to look 100 per cent genuine on screen. It is extremely sensitive to portray someone who is visually impaired and some of the great actors, the world over, have played these characters perfectly with sheer brilliance. I didn't want to let down my director who had faith in me and in my acting skills. I went to a blind school for 3 months regularly to observe body language, mannerisms, reactions and nuances. Today, when I'm seeing the love that the audience is pouring for the trailer and my character, I feel glad that I put myself through this drill. It was tough and rigorous and needed all the attention in the world to pick such tricky nuances but acting is as much talent as it is attention to detail."

He further added, "I took a special training from a blind musician Rahul to learn piano".

This dedication of Ayushmann can be clearly seen through the trailer and we hope that this movie will be loved by the audiences. The movie will be releasing this Friday i.e 5th oct.
