Janhvi Kapoor is super thrilled to be in KJo's next Takht

Janhvi Kapoor is new sensation of Bollywood. She is the daughter of the legendary actress Sridevi and she proves it to the tiniest bit. Earlier this year her movie, Dhadak released and it wowed the audience with it's raw appeal. Janhvi was opposite Ishaan Khatter in the movie and they gathered many accolades for their performances. 

Now the actress has another project in hand and it is none other than Karan Johar's directorial, Takht. Dhadak was produced by Karan's production house, Dharma Productions and this is now his directorial. Janhvi is thrilled to be a part of Takht and can't control her excitement. 

Talking about it to Mid-Day, Janhvi said,"It's overwhelming. I still pinch myself to believe this. I am so excited and happy to start the shoot and work on that film. But, I am constantly thinking about it, and sharing the screen space with these actors, they are so gifted. And I have looked up to them."

"I wouldn't have been more happy to be directed by Karan (Johar). What excites me the most is that he has so much knowledge. To even be on the set with him is fortunate. So, I am really excited."she continued.

Apart from Janhvi, Takht has Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in various roles. This grand cast and Karan's direction makes up for a perfectly brewed movie. Takht is slated to release in 2020.
