Just when we thought the Black Buck case has gone to the woods, it's again caught it's road and this time it has bigger allegations too. Almost five months ago, Jodhpur court convicted Salman Khan with an imprisonment of 5 years for the poaching rare species of Black buck. The other actors
Saif Ali Khan,
Sonali Bendre,
Neelam Kothari and
Tabu were also involved in the in the hunting case.
As per the judgement of the Jodhpur court, these stars, except Salman Khan, were acquitted. Rajasthan government however is not in a mood to let the things slip easy for these stars. Now the reports are that the Rajasthan government is appealing against the judgement of Jodhpur court. The appeal is against the acquittal of
Saif Ali Khan,
Neelam Kothari,
Tabu and
Sonali Bendre. The evidence against them has already brewed lots of trouble.
They all have been attending proceedings of the courts since many years. The poaching of Black buck happened in 1998 in Jodhpur during the shooting of 'Hum Saatha Saath Hai'. The Bishnoi community reported the case and since then these stars have seen 20 years of ups and downs in court.
The case however took longer to come to a conclusion but when it finally settled, Rajasthan government uplifted it again. Now only time will tell how it turns out for these stars. As for Salman Khan, he is currently on a bail and is not allowed to leave the country without permission. For more updates, stay tuned to India-forums.
