Shraddha Kapoor reveals about her character in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's social drama Batti Gul Meter Chalu is scheduled to release on September 14.

Shraddha Kapoor seems to have gone de-glam for the movie which highlights the problem of high electricity bills despite long hours of power cuts. She is playing a small-town girl Lalita Nautiyal a.k.a Nauti in the film that is set in Uttrakhand.

During a media interaction, Shraddha reveals about her character that she played for her upcoming movie 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. She says that "In Batti I play 'Lalita Nautiyal' fondly is 'Nauti' and she is far departure of how I am as a person she is very voicy as a person and so outside. She is quite out there but in a mid view of the film Tripathi escapes, Nauti with her three best friends and something terrible happens where the electricity company kind of leases. One of my best friends, she is never been supportive of SK 'kapti Kamina' lawyer based so she is someone who stands up against that, she is very conscious of what is right and what is wrong so she stands up for that as well.

Alongside this, she is a fashion designer who thinks she is the best fashion designer in the world but actually she is not. She has a very bad sense of dressing, but she thinks she dresses the best. She also says that Manish Malhotra Rohit Bal ko Lakme fashion week Mein dekhaungi (I will show Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal in Lakme Fashion week).

She has blue strips in her hair and blue and pink on her body also and her friends keep making fun of her that Yeh fafundi Jaise Phool kya Laga rakha hai Mein Paani dal du kya uspe(how terrible these flowers are should we water them.) people always make fun of her in the film . Aside from this, she has a very strong conscious es apart from these she also looks for a guy for herself to get married. Even before her mom and dad want her to get married, so she is like you all will not look for me so I only have to look for myself."

On the work front, Shraddha will next be seen in Saina and Saho
