Shahid-Mira's family is now complete says parents Neelima & Pankaj

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor who were expecting their second baby have been recently blessed with a baby boy on Wednesday. Many celebrities and fans have also sent congratulatory messages to Shahid on his social media account. Shahid also tanked them for the same.

The actor's mother, Neelima Azeem, and brother Ishaan Khatter were spotted at the hospital on Wednesday night, Shahid brought in Misha to meet her little brother on Thursday afternoon.

Neelima Azeem told Mumbai Mirror that everything went normally adding, "My dearest elder son's family is now complete, and my daughter-in-law Mira has been so wonderful, brave and strong through the whole process. Misha has got a brother and her Ishaan chachu has got a nephew now. I'm a hands-on grandmother with Misha and since I've had two boys of my own, being with the new member of the family will come naturally to me,"

The veteran actress can't wait to bring the baby home. "Everything was normal so Inshaallah the baby and mother will be home soon," Neelima Azeem added saying that the family is still deciding a name for the new Kapoor member.

Dad Pankaj Kapoor to has paid them a visit. On Thursday evening, Pankaj was seen visiting the hospital to meet his grandson. In a news report to Republic TV, Pankaj said: "I am very delighted that a new bundle of joy has come to our house. A baby being born in any house is a matter of sheer joy and excitement. Similarly, it is a moment of joy for our family and as the grandfather of the newborn, I am delighted and very proud of my family. I wish Shahid and Mira all the very best and many congratulations."

Recently in an interview with Mumbai Mirror Pankaj also said that "It's the most delightful thing that can happen to any family. Shahid's family is now complete. God bless all of them. We are thrilled about the new arrival."

On the work front, Shahid has been busy promoting his upcoming film, Shree Narayan Singh's Batti Gul Meter Chalu, and then he will resume work to kick off his next, the Hindi remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, with co-star Tara Sutaria. Murad Khetani, the film's producer, told Mirror, "We start to shoot in Mumbai from September to mid-October. It will be followed by a Delhi schedule in November"
