Salman Khan production's Loveratri is going through a period of endless trouble. It is facing one trouble after another as it is closing its date of release.  Currently, a petition has been filed by Advocate Ajay Kumar WaghMare in which he claims that the movie is going to release in and around Navratri which is sacrilegious in intention. As per the petition which has been moved in Aurangabad Bench of High Court, the advocate claims that the title of the film is intentionally affecting the standing of Hindus. The makers have used this title to make monetary gains.

"The title 'Loveratri' perverts the festival of Navratri into a festival full of 'lewdness' and 'amourousness'," argues Waghmare. As a solution to his objection, Waghmare suggests that the title 'Loveratri' be dropped. He suggests that a few objectionable scenes should also be deleted from the movie because they were an attempt to malign and project Hindu festival and women in a derogatory manner. He also seeks an unconditional apology from the makers for hurting Hindu and women's sentiments.

Earlier in May too, Alok Kumar, President of Vishnu Hindu Parishad, had said in the media that he will not let 'Loveratri' to be exhibited in theatres. His allegation was the same and he said that the title 'Loveratri' is derogatory to the Hindu festival.

Now it's a matter of time till we find out how these claims work out against the movie. Right now the trouble continues for 'Loveratri'. For more deets, stay tuned to India-forums.
