Salman Khan SAVED Kavi Kumar Azad's Life 8 years ago by doing THIS

On 9^th July we got aquatinted with a rude shock of Dr Hathi aka Kavi Kumar Azad passing away due to a heart attack. This news had deeply affected not only his Tarak Mehta co-stars but also his fans from all across the world.

Now, a fresh report in SpotBoyE reveals how 8 years ago, Azad had collapsed on the sets of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and almost died. However, it was Bollywood actor Salman Khan who came to Kavi's rescue and paid for all his medical treatments and thus saved his life.

The report reads, "Kavi Kumar Azad's hospital treatment and the bariatric surgery that was conducted on him were all paid for by Salman Khan. Azad, who died suddenly of a heart attack earlier this week, lost more than 100 kgs after the health scare".

The report also mentioned, "Salman paid for the actor's hospital room and the operation theatre. He also paid for Azad's medicines. Salman works closely with the doctor who attended to Azad and often pays the medical bills of those in need. Azad's doctor also waived off his fees".

Kavi Kumar was truly dedicated towards his work and further reports also suggested that the late actor had refused to undergo a second bariatric surgery, despite the advice of his doctor, because his career depended on him not losing weight.

The popular TV actor was cremated according to the Hindu tradition at Mira Road on 10^th July. A host of his co-stars and producer Asit Modi had come to pay their last respects. Co-stars Shailesh Lodha (Tarak Mehta), Kush Shah (Goli), Bhavya Gandhi (Tapu) Neha Mehta (Anjali Mehta), Tanuj Mahashabde (Iyer) and Jennifer Mistry (Roshan Sodhi) among others were in attendance.

This gem of a person will truly be missed. RIP Dr Hathi aka Kavi Kumar Azad.
