Are Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra at a Huge WAR?

There is an ample competition that exists in the world of Bollywood today where each celebrity wants to be at the top of the game. And what better than showing your popularity via your social media platforms?  

It became huge news when yesterday global icon Priyanka Chopra achieved the 25 million mark on Instagram by surpassing even the PM of India Narendra Modi (13.5 Million) and contemporary actress Deepika Padukone (24.9 Million).

Now, we were casually scrolling through Instagram when we happened to open Deepika's Instagram account and were taken back to see that in a day's time, Padukone too has achieved the 25 million mark. What could be called as a coincidence, we feel that Deepika and Priyanka are definitely at a social media war and their PR teams are leaving no stone unturned to make their respective celebrity No. 1.

Yesterday, when our Desi girl Pee Cee scored the 25 Million mark, she thanked her fans by posting, "25 million strong... Thank you for the love... Love you right back".

We will now wait to see how Deepika responds to this number that she has achieved today!

Meanwhile, the actresses are also apparently at loggerheads to be the highest paid actress in Bollywood. After Deepika was paid a whopping sum of 13 crores for her act in Padmaavat, Chopra had demanded 14 crores for her role in Bharat. But, the actress is reportedly being paid Rs 6.50 crore by the makers of Bharat now.

About this competition between the two, a source had revealed, "Priyanka's this move looks like as if she wants to compete with Deepika when it comes to being the highest paid actress in the industry. Deepika Padukone had charged Rs 13 crore which was comparatively more than her male co-stars in the film for her act in Padmaavat and now reportedly Priyanka has demanded Rs 14 crore for Bharat".
