Ranveer Singh's grandmother Passes Away

Ranveer Singh's grandmother left for heavenly abode this morning. The actor has cancelled all his shoots and events that were planned for today after the sudden demise of his beloved grandma.

Reportedly, she was keeping unwell for a long time. In January, Ranveer's girlfriend, Deepika Padukone had visited his granny.

The actor was very close to his grandma and during one of his interviews he had expressed how much she means to him.

While speaking to Grazia, he had shared about how his grandmother is the reason he has grown up to be so affectionate. "As important to me as oxygen and water. I am very affectionate with everybody - my fans, my family. I was raised that way. My grandmother mollycoddled me. There was lots of hugging and kissing in my house," he had said.
