Inder Kumar was one of the closest friends of Superstar Salman Khan. The actor was best known for playing supporting roles in Hindi films such as Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. He was also seen in Salman Khan's "Wanted" in 2009.

However, he had a good start with notable films like Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye(2000), Gaja Gamini (2000), Maa Tujhhe Salaam (2002) and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge (2002). He also appeared on television in the Star Plus serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi playing the part of Mihir Virani opposite Smriti Irani in 2002.

But, unfortunately, his career had started to suffer when he was bedridden for five years due to a broken vertebra from helicopter fall while doing his own stunt on the set of the film Maseeha in 2002. He went through hardship by 2004, suffered financial troubles, romantic breakups, depression and drug issues. Going through a lot in his life all at once no one from the industry stood by him except actress Dolly Bindra. After his tough time, he returned to acting appearing in the Bengali film Agnipath in 2005 which flopped. And then again after several flops, he attempted a comeback in 2009 in Salman's "Wanted" which was a blockbuster hit but still it couldn't help his career. His last film was Yeh Dooriyan in 2011. He was shooting for a film titled Phati Padi Hai Yaar at the time of his death.

He took his last breath on July 28, 2017. Reportedly, Inder died due to cardiac arrest at his residence in Four Bungalows around 12.30 am and he was officially pronounced dead by 4 am.

And not over a year of his demise, a video of the actor has been going viral where he is seen drunk. Also while drinking the actor says that he is committing suicide as he could not become a successful actor and make his parents proud of him and more.

However, according, to a report in Spotboye the video is now being said that it is a scene from one of Inder's upcoming films, which he shot for sometime back. However, Inder's wife has kept a press conference today in the evening to let the media know the information about the video.
