Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas DISMISSES his wedding rumours

In the past few days, we have come across numerous reports surrounding Sumeet Vyas's marriage with girlfriend Ekta Kaul. There was no official confirmation from either of them and now the Veere Di Wedding actor has released an official statement where he talks about his divorce and his relationship status with Ekta.

The actor shared, "I would like to put an end to all the rumours and speculation around my engagement to the actress, Ekta Kaul. The rumours are false. We are currently dating and are enjoying this phase of our relationship. As both of us are busy with our careers, we would like to spend more time together before taking the next step. I would request the media to not speculate and spread false news regarding the same".

"There have been other rumours about my divorce that have come up post the launch of the Veere Di Wedding trailer. I would also like to confirm my divorce to actress Shivani Tanksale took place in 2017, it happened amicably and we both continue to remain friends. There is a friendship that has been there for many years and we split ways with a lot of respect", the actor concluded.

On the work front, Sumeet has two films lined up for 2018. His next film is 'High Jack', a Hindi stoner comedy film and is scheduled to release on 11^th May. Post this, Vyas will be seen in 'Veere Di Wedding' where he plays the love interest to Kareena Kapoor. This film is scheduled to release on 1^st June.
