Soni Razdan shares this INSIGHT of Alia Bhatt from her film 'Raazi'

Alia Bhatt's upcoming film 'Raazi' has been much talked about given that it has a strong storyline. The trailer of this film has left us all impressed and already has been touted as one of the finest performances by the talented Alia Bhatt.

One new thing this film offers to the audience is mom Soni Razdan and daughter Alia Bhatt's first-time on-screen pairing on the silver screen. Although we couldn't see much of them together in the trailer but we are excited for this one!

Yesterday, the makers of the film released an emotional track from the film titled as 'Dilbaro' which chronicles the story of every bride during her bidai. In one of the frames, we can catch a glimpse of Soni teary-eyed while bidding goodbye to her daughter.

Today, Soni Razdan shared that same frame and also revealed that how Razdan and Bhatt both didn't need any glycerine to shoot for this song. We truly believe this as Alia too had shared how natural it was to shoot for a song like this. Bhatt had expressed, "Dilbaro is a song that made me tear up the first time I heard it. The lyrics are simple, powerful and just beautiful. Written by the maestro Gulzar Saab, I couldn't help but think of my father who's held my hand but also let my fly. My most special friendship! Love you papa".

Speaking of the film, Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar is an adaption of Harinder Sikka's novel 'Calling Sehmat' and depicts the journey of an ordinary Indian girl, under extraordinary circumstances. The film presented by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
