This is what Ranbir Kapoor has to say about his downfall in films

One knows how talented Ranbir Kapoor is as an actor. The actor has always shined with his act in films like Rockstar, Tamasha, Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh Of The Year to name a few. But, he has also been a part of the bad films that have not only badly tanked at the box-office but, has not even shown his acting skills in it.

Today at the teaser launch of his upcoming film "Sanju", when a journalist asked Ranbir that he had said that he learnt from Raju sir what it means to entertain people and Vidhu ji said that he is an incredible actor with stupid choices in scripts. So is that going to change with this film?

He said, "You know if every actor knew what he was doing with a plan, everybody would be a superstar. I am trying to learn from my own mistakes. I keep reminding myself that it is just a bend and not the end, zindagi bahut lambi hai (smiles). Life is tough; it requires a lot of hard work and his (Rajkumar Hirani) title of the film, Lage Raho which means keep working. What I learnt from Raju sir is the power of entertainment. The power is, not what's entertaining to you but what's entertaining to people."

He further added, "When a filmmaker makes a film for the audience and not for himself, that's such learning. I have been a part of a lot of films, good and lot of bad films and I am a part of all of it. It is not that I regret doing it. But just the understanding of what the cinema is that's something I have understood. Not saying that now I will be only in successful films, I will make a lot of mistakes but the understanding was very important to me."
