Not Priya Varrier but, Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba

Since a few days now, there have been rumours about Priya Prakash Varrier and Sara Ali Khan popping up for the lead actress opposite Ranveer Singh in " "Simbaa". Now, the makers finally and officially announce Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan opposite as the lead opposite Ranveer.

Simbaa is a film that has been in more buzz due to the collaboration of Ranveer with the blockbuster filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Well, it will not mark the first collaboration only between the two but, also between Rohit and Karan Johar as Karan will be producing his film for the first time. 

However, for Sara Ali Khan it will be her first ever collaboration with all the three stars. But, this won't be called as her debut film for now as she has already completed the first half of "Kedarnath" opposite Sushant Singh Rajput that is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor. The second half of the shoot is said to commence in April 2018 and slated to slated to release in December this year. But, the catch is that even Rohit's Simmba is said to release during the Christmas 2018 only. So, Sarra would be having a back to back release of films in a week or two. 

With such a big clash in the release of two films with a common lead actress either one of the makers will have to shift their date to avoid the clash.
