Bollywood actor-director-singer Farhan Akhtar has reached a new milestone on social networking site Twitter with eleven million followers.

Farhan is a youth icon, for the choices he has made and the kind of work he does inspires the youth a lot.

He is high on social media engagements with fans and interacts with his fans often.

Be it acting, film making, script writing, singing, fitness Farhan proves to be an influencer across interests.

The "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" star is currently on his India tour for his concert.

A filmmaker, actor, singer, songwriter and founder of the MARD initiative took to his Twitter handle and thanked his followers and for their constant support, encouragement and constructive criticism to him.

Farhan Akhtar wrote, "We're 11 million strong now.. Thank you for the love, the support, the encouragement and the constructive criticism. Lots of love."

The actor is currently busy touring India for his concerts, which are happening at various cities across the nation.

Meanwhile, his ZNMD co-star Katrina Kaif also crossed a milestone by crossing 7 million on Instagram.

On the work front, Farhan will have a busy year ahead with 3 Storeys, Gold and Gully Boy to his credit.
