This is how Ranveer felt on not sharing screen space with Deepika

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have become filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's muse ever since he cast them in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram - Leela. And why not? The two cast a spell with their stupendous on-screen chemistry in both the Bhansali films.

With Padmaavat, Ranveer, Deepika, and Bhansali have collaborated for the third time. Unlike in his other two films, Ranveer did not have a single scene with Deepika which surely was a unique experience for the actor altogether.

In a recent interview with us, Ranveer was asked about how different was it not share screen space with his alleged girlfriend Deepika. To which he said, "I didn't have a single day on-shoot schedule with Deepika. Although we were working on the same movie but we didn't meet. It was only once when we had a joint meeting and later we met at the cast and the crew screening".

He further added, "However I used to visit the sets to see some of their scenes but wouldn't interact. I found that very fascinating because there's a lot to learn from sitting and observing. In fact, I had put on weight because for months I was just sitting at home doing nothing so I used to make these visits. The Chittorgarh set shoot took a lot of time to shot. All in all, it was a unique experience to star in the same film and not have a single day of shoot together".

Talking about his character in the film, Ranveer has given his career best with the portrayal of Alauddin Khilji but the actor promises that the best is yet to come and we are thrilled to witness that!

As for now, Ranveer is busy filming for Gully Boy in the city. The actor yesterday announced the release date of his upcoming film '83 which is to be released on 30^th August 2019.
