Shahid to visit Singapore for a special screening of 'Padmaavat'

"Padmaavat's success has not only took the lead stars on cloud nine but, has also kept them more busy interacting with the media and their fans. While the film is going strong even in the overseas and the actor has also been appreciated for his performance in the film, Shahid plans to visit a special screening in Singapore tomorrow

An NGO, Food From The Heart is said to be organising the event. The non-profit charity feeds the hungry through its food distribution programme. Established in 2003, by Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, the NGO channels surplus food from bakeries to those in need.  

When asked a source says, "When Shahid got to know that the screening is being organised by an NGO, he instantly agreed to attend it." The trip will, however, be a short one. Further adding to it another source confirms the news, "Yes, Shahid is flying to Singapore tonight for the screening tomorrow. He will be there only for a day."

Meanwhile, the actor has also started prepping for his upcoming film, "Batti Gul Meter Chalu" that also stars Shraddha Kapoor opposite him and Yami Gautam in a key role.
