New Delhi, March 3 (IANS) The Congress will use music composer A.R. Rahman's Oscar winning song 'Jai Ho' in its poll campaign for the coming Lok Sabha elections, sources said Tuesday.

The sources in the Congress said the party has bought exclusive rights of the song from British director Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' - which won eight Oscars.

The rights were acquired from music company T-series, the sources said.

The rags-to-rich film shows life in Mumbai slums. It has 'Jai Ho' as its theme song.

Music composer A.R. Rahman and lyricist Gulzar were awarded the Oscar for the hit number.
