Will Padmavati face any issue with it's release?

One of the most awaited films of the year 2017, Padmawati has been in news for many reasons till now. The announcement itself created a buzz amongst the fans of the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his choice of the cast that includes stars like Ranveer Singh Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.

Post starting with their shoot, in January this year the team had a hard time to shoot in Jaipur due to the members of Shri Rajput Karni Sena protested at sets in Jaigarh Fort alleging that the Bhansali depicted wrong facts in the film. They also tried to vandalise the sets which lead the makers to delay the rest of the shoot.

The makers are said to have worried to have a smooth release due to these issues.

During a recent conversation with director-producer Karan Johar, Smriti Irani said, "I am sure law and order will be under control. The State government will ensure no miscreants disrupt any kind of interaction or display. I don't envisage any problem. If there is any challenge, the State government will meet it," when Karan asked about the filmmakers facing political pressure.

She further shared that, "It is usually miscreants without cover who create such controversies. If law and order is the issue and a filmmaker communicates the problem clearly, then it is taken care of. To say that something will happen is a localised fear."

Well, after reading this finally the makers can calm and look forward to their release. Produced by Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures the film is set to hit the screens on December 1, 2017.
