Aamir Khan Productions completes 16 glorious years!

Aamir Khan started the production house with a vision to do films that he believed in. AKP was founded with a purpose of producing Lagaan which went on to create a history in the Indian film industry.

The production house has given the audiences no single flop over the years. A feat that no other production house can claim.

AKP has been a trendsetter in Bollywood by creating a landmark with a whooping box office collections. Aamir Khan's visionary mind went on creating movies which were unconventional and rooted too the grounds and has been critically acclaimed as well.

After Laagan, Aamir Khan came up with a brilliant story based on a kid who was facing problem with his life which was non other than 'Tare Zameen Par' in 2007. The film had garnered enormous praises from across the nation.

AKP has also delivered exceptional movies like 'Jaane Tu ya Jaane na', 'Dhobi Ghat', 'PEEPLI [Live]', 'Delhi Belly' and 'Talaash'.

Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' was another feather on hat for AKP. The film was a biographical sports drama were Aamir Khan was playing a 55 year old father. It was a film based on father-daughter relation with no heroine.

Dangal went on breaking all records at box office worldwide. The film became fifth highest grossing non English film by minting $300 Millions worldwide.

With such great releases Aamir Khan Film Productions have surely created a milestone in the history of Indian Cinema.
