Makarand Deshpande's hair in 'Hanumaan Da Damdaar' was a wig!

What is the most prominent feature in Makrand Deshpande? His hair and his mustache of course. Imagine the shock people got recently when they realized that he was wearing a wig!

"You say Makrand Deshpande and start seeing bushy hair and mustaches everywhere. But he actually has had to shave it all for a role. When we were shooting some of the promotional videos for HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR, he could not have come all shaven looking very unlike himself, so the good man actually had a wig-maker make an exact wig of his signature style fuzz for him," shared Ruchi Narain, who couldn't stop laughing at Makrand's plight of visiting the wig-maker to make a wig to look like himself!

Written and directed by Ruchi Narain, HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR with an ensemble cast featuring voice overs by Salman Khan, RaveenaTandon, Kunal Kemmu, Chunky Pandey, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, Makrand Deshpande and Javed Akhtar is been produced by R.A.T. FILMS, presented by RNB film in association with R.A.T films and is slated to release on the 2nd of June.
