Fatima Sana Shaikh to ROMANCE Aamir in 'Thugs'? Here's the truth!

Just a few days ago it was confirmed that 'Dangal' fame Fatima Sana Shaikh has been roped in for Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Thugs of Hindostan'. It gave rise to many speculations that the actress will be seen doing some steamy scenes with the film's lead actor Aamir Khan.

However, a report in a popular tabloid has turned down all the all such rumours about the same. Note that Fatima had played the character of Aamir's daughter in 'Dangal'.

The report quoted a source informing, "It's not true. They don't have a romantic interest in one another at all. To see Aamir romancing Fatima right after Dangal would be an exercise in tasteless and insensitive professionalism. Although Fatima is part of the cast, they're not paired together. Aamir is paired with Katrina Kaif." (sic)

The filmmaker had earlier approached actresses which included Vaani Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for the film. However, they couldn't give their nod for the film due to some or the other reasons. Later, on Vijay's recommendation, makers approached Katrina Kaif for the role. "The heroine's role was sketchy, to begin with. It's now been fleshed out for Katrina's sake", the source informed further. (sic)
