New Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS) Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishen, who is playing Abhishek Bachchan's younger brother in Mani Ratnam's upcoming multilingual film 'Ravan', says he will take a decision on joining politics after he finishes shooting for the movie.

'The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have approached me and they are ready to give me a ticket to contest election from Gorakhpur in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,' Ravi told IANS.

'However, I have not yet decided. I'll take the decision as soon I am free from here,' added Ravi.

While the Samajwadi Party has given a ticket to Manoj Tiwari, another popular Bhojpuri actor, to contest election from Gorakhpur, the BJP and the BSP want Ravi to contest from the there.

Ravi is currently in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, shooting for 'Ravan'.

Talking about his role in 'Ravan', Ravi said: 'I'm playing Abhishek Bachchan's younger brother. Yesterday we shot a dance sequence along with 500 junior artists on the hilly terrains of Jhansi some 15 km from the city. We do not know when the shooting will end but we hope to leave from here in three to four days.'
