#Confirmed: Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte roped in for Akshay's PADMAN

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are gearing for for their next film 'Padman'. Since the time, Akshay announced the film, specualtions have been abuzz pertaining to its film's cast. Earlier it was reported that a South Indian actor is touted to play the lead character in the film. As per fresh developments now, two of the Bollywood actress have been taken on board for the project.

Actress Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte have been roped in for the film. 'Neerja' actress herself confirmed to the film by posting about the same on her social media profile.

The film would be directed by R. Balki and is produced by Twinkle Khanna's production named Mrs Funnybones Productions. The film will mark Twinkle's first production film.

Sonam was snapped at R. Balki's office yesterday by the media.

The film is inspired from a true story based on Arunachalam Muruganantham who brought a revolution by creating cheap and affordable sanitary napkins for women with low income.

The film is in its initial stages and it's yet to go on the floors.
