Tragic Death on the sets of Ranveer- Deepika's starrer 'Padmavati'

In a shocking incident, a 34 year-old painter lost his life after falling off from a height of five feet on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic drama 'Padmavati'.

Reportedly, the victim identified as Mukesh Dakia was a painter by profession and was working on the making of a set in Film City. Accidental Death Report (ADR) was registered in Aarey Police Station, and investigation is on. A senior police officer from Aarey Colony police station has stated that he fell on his head and was taken to Kokilaben hospital on Friday but was declared dead.

As per sources, safety was neglected on the site and now the police will be takinh "strict" action against it.

Director and produced Sanjay Leela Bhansali has extended help to the victim's family and has condoled the loss of life on his set. Shobha Santa, the CEO of Bhansali Productions said, "What took place was extremely unfortunate and completely unforeseen. We are making every effort to help the victim and we grieve the death of the deceased."
