GOSSIP: Here's why Deepika Padukone- Ranbir Kapoor SKIPPED the party

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor who are among the closest friends of fashion designer Manish Malhotra, skipped his 50th birthday bash that was hosted by Karan Johar.

While the who's who of Bollywood was present in full attendance, these two ex-flames decided to give it a miss and this lead to everyone speculating their absence.

If gossip mongers are to be believed, the ex-flames had refrained themselves from attending the party because of Katrina Kaif!

But, let's give you a more clear view. Deepika had to attend the Nickelodeon Kids Awards the same evening hours before Manish's party started. At the same event, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt (had also done a dance performance) were present and they headed straight for the party after the event wrapped up. On the other hand, Dippy decided to skip it. 

Ranbir Kapoor didn't even have any excuses to give because he was in the town itself but still gave it a miss. Insiders believe it was due to Miss. Kaif because he didn't want to cross paths with her.
