Deepika or Anushka, who will win the race for Krrish 4's leading lady?

Rakesh Roshan has been looking for the leading lady for his next directorial, Krrish 4, ever since he announced the release of the next instalment of the superhero series. Rakesh Roshan has never repeated the actress in the franchise. Though Priyanka was a part of Krrish and Krrish 3, but she had a very small role in the later, as compared to Kangana Ranaut.

But she wouldn't star in Krrish 4 for obvious reasons. From the current crop of actresses, Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt would be too young to be paired opposite Hrithik. So the other A-listers that remain are, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra. All the three actresses have never been paired opposite Jr. Roshan. A source close the director said, "Director Rakesh Roshan is looking for a new pairing. It won't be anyone who has been part of the franchise before."

Deepika was paired opposite Hrithik in Thug, but Roshan backed out of the project and eventually Aamir Khan was roped in for the film, and was renamed Thugs of Hindostan. So don't know the chances of the Roshans signing her, as she just finished shoot for an action movie in Hollywood.

Next in line is Anushka Sharma, who also essayed the role of a wrestler in Sultan opposite Salman Khan. She is the only actress of the three to have worked with all the three Khans of Bollywood. When asked if she would want to work with Hrithik, she has said that she would love to work with him when the right script comes along.

Parineeti Chopra was offered Roshan's Kaabil but she declined the offer, as she had a very small part, who eventually dies in the film. After all the weight loss she would love to do some kickass stunts herself. Rakesh Roshan told the leading daily, "A superhero like Krrish, needs a super heroine, nothing less. No ordinary mortal. Someone who can fly, fight and save the world in a breath, figuratively speaking of course. And all our top rung actresses are more than super heroines. As to who it will be finally saving the world with Krrish? Wait and watch. That's a secret for now."
