Sanjay Leela Bhansali REJECTS Ranveer Singh's request

Ranveer Singh just doesn't seem to stop his nagging behavior. Earlier the actor was uncomfortable to have another A-list actor to be cast as a parallel lead opposite him. He had agreed to do a female centric film only because his ladylove, Deepika Padukone, was playing the female lead.

After putting all of Ranveer's inhibitions and insecurities aside, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was set to start the shoot of Padmavati last week, but that didn't happen. Seems like Ranveer wasn't satisfied after all.

Now he has another bizarre demand; he has asked Sanjay to add Shahid Kapoor's name as a 'Guest Appearance' in the film. A flabbergasted Bhasali, straight away rejected Singh's request. Shahid can't be termed as a 'guest' as Bhansali has taken the same number of days from both the actors. Plus Shahid would walk out of the project, if Sanjay does that.

Deepika wanted only a A-list actor to play her husband onscreen. Since the character would be portrayed as a weaker one, no other actor was ready to do the role of Deepika's husband, until Shahid Kapoor confirmed.

A source close to the teams informs, "Now Bhansali has asked Deepika to talk to Ranveer and convince him to start the film. Because the film will not move ahead if Ranveer doesn't come round."

Though Shahid would be a happy guy, as this has helped him extend his paternity leave and spend some time with his daughter.
