Katrina gives it back to Deepika!

Let's face the fact that Katrina and Deepika haven't been the best of friends in the industry. The reason for this uncomfortable equation, the divas share is best left unsaid, as the reason isn't a part of either of their lives anymore.

But seems like the two have a whole new reason to get into a 'Kat' fight. Shah Rukh Khan's much talked about project with Anand L. Rai, had been looking for its leading lady for a while now. There were talks about Katrina Kaif bagging the film. The deal was almost done, when Anand L Rai changed his mind. A source close to Rai said, "He went ahead and cast Deepika in the film instead. It will now be SRK, Deepika and another heroine, who will be the 2^nd lead in the film. Katrina wouldn't be comfortable playing 2^nd fiddle to Deepika. So that film is out of question" (sic).

Katrina has got her revenge for this as there has been news in hush tones that Kran Johar is considering Katrina Kaif for his next production opposite Fawad Khan. Earlier KJo was considering Deepika but seems like he too has a change of plans. A secret source revealed, "Katrina will be seen opposite Fawad in KJo's next, to be directed by Shakun Batra. Karan and Kat have bonded over the last few months and he is pleased with her work in Baar Baar Dekho, he has offered her another film. Meanwhile Deepika's date dairy is full because of Padmavati and her film with SRK. And his other favourite, Kareena Kapoor Khan is having a baby, so Karan is going ahead with Kat" (sic).

As both these films will start rolling in November, it would be pretty interesting to watch a clash at the box-office too. Keep reading this space for more updates.
