'I am starting my career from scratch', Akshay Khanna

Popular actor Akshay Khanna was on a break from his Bollywood career. The actor had informed us that it was his personal issues that kept him away from his professional life. However, he is now back once again with Rohit Dhawan's film 'Dishoom', which got released today.

During our interaction with him, he informed us that this is a phase for him where he feels that he is now re-starting his career. He also shares that he doesn't want to take up big roles but wants to start with smaller roles and get back in the eyes of the audience.

He says, "I in my mind I am starting my career from scratch. So even the first 3-4 films that I am going to do I want solid and substantial roles, no compromise on that. But I wanted to start with smaller roles and slowly. I don't want to do come and do a main role. I'll get into the rhythm slowly. So including that also I said let them do it and I said that's enough. Let me do my won small thing in my own way, it's enough because I know the reactions we are going to get."

Like 'Race' and 'Humraaz', Akshay plays a negative character in 'Dishoom' too.
