OMG : It's over between Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif!

The media has been abuzz with rumors of a split between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for months now. But each time the couple laughed them off and denied any scope of separation and after the recent picture of the two kissing on their balcony made rounds, it put to rest all speculations regarding their relationship. Some even believed the two planned on getting married soon!

However, as reported earlier, Ranbir had moved out of their love-pad in Bandra where he had been living-in with Katrina for the past one year, which left everyone wondering as to what was actually going on between the couple that has been dating for six long years!

Well.. a source close to the couple has confirmed the couple's break up with an entertainment portal stating that, "The two have officially parted ways. Three days back, RK moved out of their Carter Road flat with all his bag and baggage. Katrina soon flew off to Delhi to promote Fitoor. This is it for them. They have tried making it work for far too long but things weren't falling in place for them. Both of them have made peace with the fact that the relationship is not headed anywhere and their differences can't be resolved. For the last few months, there has been a lot of tension between them. Ranbir's proximity with Deepika Padukone during the promotions of Tamasha didn't go down well with Katrina. And she made no pretenses in vehemently putting it across to the media. In an interview with a magazine, she'd said that she hopes Ranbir's choices change as he evolves. He has never been the kind of person who can stand being bound in a relationship like that." [sic]

The couple had been toiling with their relationship until the last. Reportedly, they even took few days off their busy schedules so they could spend time with each other. But seems like their relationship failed to stand the test of times and they decided to part ways.

Their joint appearance at Shashi Kapoor's Christmas brunch was a positive, though Neetu Singh Kapoor's absence from the gathering was a negative. The idea of Ranbir dating Katrina never appealed much, to the Kapoors.

According to another source, "How long can you avert a breakup when two people are just not getting along. There is also staunch opposition from Ranbir's family. It wasn't a good sign when Neetu Kapoor bunked the annual Christmas lunch. She has never missed that family gathering. With both his parents against the alliance, it just doesn't seem worth dragging it on anymore." [sic]

Fans might be shocked to hear about their splitsville but close friends and family of the couple are barely surprised as they had seen it coming!

Ranbir will reportedly start living again with his parents who have moved out of their bungalow Krishna Raj (it is going under works) into their new apartment in Bandra.

And with that... sadly, another romantic saga of Bollywood comes to an end!
