King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan along with Kajol launched their first song from Dilwale "Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua" yesterday at one of the oldest theatres in Mumbai 'Maratha Mandir'. It's the same theatre which has played Shah Rukh - Kajol's superhit film 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge' for almost 20 years now. Apart from the duo, celebs like Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Pritam Chakroborty, Rohit Shetty and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya were also present to join the event.
The launch event wasn't less than a grand celebration as it witnessed a huge crowd which included the Media, Crew members from team Dilwale and other professionals from Sony Music.
The song 'Gerua' is shot in Iceland giving stunning looks of Shah Rukh & Kajol romancing in the back drop of waterfalls and other pleasing multiple locations. Also, Shah rukh's brand of romance has added a lively touch to the song. It can be said that this most loved on screen couple has re-lived their tale of love and romance in this song.
Sharing about his experience while shooting the song, Shah rukh says, "Whenever a director thinks to picturise us, he first remembers of our bonding on screen. Last time, in Suraj Hua Maddham, We had shot in it extensive heat but this time we thought to do this song in a complete cold environment in Iceland. Basically, expression of love is similar and thus it's not comparable like that but love is always the same.
When asked about that one challenging and difficult shot that they had to give in the song, Kajol exclaimed, "Challenging was like we almost died shooting on the icebergs. We had become the color of the icebergs by the end of the day. So we were actually shivering when we came back and then we had three jackets on us. So yes it was really challenging overall.
Well, the song is out and we hope that viewers love that and that's what the duo expects.
