A kissing scene between two male actors, which the makers of "Time Out" decided to incorporate in the movie, had to be scrapped because of the actors' parents.

"Time Out", helmed by debutant director Rikhil Bahadur, is a coming-of-age story that celebrates the spirit of individuality, showcasing the journey of two teenaged brothers who come to terms with their individual identities.

Since the movie deals with a sensitive issue like homosexuality, the makers wanted to include a kissing scene that was supposed to be picturised on Pranay Pachauri and Vedabrata Rao.

Confirming the same, a source from the film's unit said: ""Initially, the makers convinced the two male actors for the kissing scene considering the script's demand. But on that day, the parents of both the actors landed up on the sets and read the script.

"All hell broke loose when they learnt that their kids have to do a lip-lock scene. Considering 'Time Out' didn't require much of intimacy factor, the idea of this particular scene was immediately taken off on the parents' insistence."

"Time Out", produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, also features Chirag Malhotra and is slated to release on September 25.
