Meeruthiya gangsters ditch their vanity!

It is not uncommon for actors to be extra-demanding when it comes to their vanity vans. However, in what is perhaps a rarity in Bollywood, the entire star cast of Meeruthiya Gangsters, including Jaideep Ahlawat, refused to use the vanity vans allotted to them, insisting on sharing just one amongst themselves.

A source shares that during their shoot schedule in Meerut, the production unit had booked four large vanity vans to be shared between the six lead actors, but it turned out to be a waste as the actors just wouldn't use them.

Producer Shoeb Ahmed confirms saying, "Yes we had booked four large vanity vans, but whenever these actors were not shooting they all would be huddled up in one half of a van. The six bonded so well that none of them wanted a separate vanity and insisted on sharing one half of the vanity, while the other three would be standing unused. And they all are well-built too, but the discomfort of six of them lounging about in that portion of the van didn't seem to matter to them at all. We would joke on the sets saying that they are any producer's delight!"
