Shiv Sena protest outside Shobha De's house

There has been an issue about sharing the prime time slot at multiplexes with Marathi movies. A new controversy arose from this today when Shobha De expressed her opposition regarding the same. 

The Shiv Sena staged a protest outside Shobha De's house today. Everything started with the declaration of BJP-ShivSena led Government, which forces multiplexes to show at least one Marathi movie during the prime-time slot. This move was opposed by De, she posted on a social networking site, "Devendra 'Diktatwala' Fadnavis is at it again!!From beef to movies. This is not the Maharashtra we all love! Nako!Nako! Yeh sab roko!" and later posted, "No more popcorn at multiplexes in Mumbai? Dahi misal and vada pav only. To go better with the Marathi movies at prime time ".

A large number of police are deployed outside Shobha De's residence to prevent any outrage. She told that she is overwhelmed by the support she received for her tweets.
