Sanjay Dutt granted an extension in his parole

Actor Sanjay Dutt has been granted an extension to his 14 day parole on medical grounds. He was already out on a 14 day leave from the Yerwada jail, October 1 onwards to get treatment for an illness unspecified. His parole that was supposed to end today will now be further extended as he had applied for an extension for his medical treatment.

He is currently at his home with his family.

The 53 year old actor is serving his 42 month sentence for his involvement in the March 1993 serial bombing.
