Commenting on this development, Hemal Jhaveri, Executive Vice President, Star Gold, said, "Our goal has always been to make Star Gold the favorite platform for movie viewing, offering our audience the best of Bollywood blockbusters. And having recorded the highest TVR on any Hindi movie channel in the past one year with our premiere of Son of Sardaar, we are delighted to see that the audiences have acknowledged our efforts towards providing them the best of Bollywood. The premiere has also proved to be an extremely successful platform from the advertisers' standpoint – keeping all our stakeholders happy. Our strategy has always been to simply offer our viewers content they want to watch, rather than what we want them to watch. We intend to offer our viewers even better and bigger blockbuster premieres in the future with the next being Dabangg 2."

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn added, "Today, television premieres hold a lot of importance for actors and producers, unlike earlier. The premiere of Son of Sardaar on Star Gold having recorded a phenomenal 5.1 TVR, I'm overwhelmed with the response the film has got from the audience proving its worthy of all the success. Be it Singham, Bol Bachchan or Son of Sardaar, Star Gold has always delivered in effectively reaching the audience. I'm extremely happy to have been associated with the channel."

The channel had rolled out a marketing campaign across Hindi speaking markets with a combination of on-air, print, digital, outdoor and cinema promotion. The on-air campaign for the premiere was aired on other network channels of Star India. Star Gold also promoted the premiere on other channel genres including Bollywood entertainment, news, kids and music.

With the maximum number of 100 crore Bollywood films being premiered on the channel, the latest TV rights deal between the channel and superstar Salman Khan for his forthcoming films till 2017, and the new record of airing the highest rated premiere on a Hindi movie channel in the past one year– Star Gold can definitely be called the Home of Bollywood Premieres for all Hindi movie buffs
