Gaurang invited for Dubai fashion show

Designer Gaurang has been invited to present his award winning kanjeevaram kalamkari 'Ardhangini' collection of bridal wear at the Dubai Numaish Fashion Show 2012 on Oct 18-20.

His presentation will include glittering saris, anarkalis and ghagras recreating the bridal look of 1950s-1960s with bright colours and antique gold adornments.

Gaurang, in a statement, said he had etched nature inspired collections for the Numaish 2012 Dubai in fabrics like silk and raw silk that can be adorned with heavy jewelleries and will suit for occasions like marriage as well as other social occasions.

Gaurang is confident that he and his team of designers and 450 weavers who created this award winning collection for the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, and brought back the rich heritage in textiles in stunning creations, will enthrall the City of Gold's fashion enthusiasts.
