Designer Anupamaa Dayal says it's high-time women start thinking about being healthy rather than achieving a 'size zero' figure and her latest collection at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring-Summer 2013, also personifies those women, who don't follow such trends.

"My collection has got a story line with a heavy focus on Indian weaves and colours. I kept the line very chic and easy-to-wear. The message that I wanted to give to the women of today is to be healthy, live stylishly, with no compromise on diet. Don't try to hard to adopt size zero. Enjoy fashion and enjoy life just the way you are," Dayal told reporters.

Dayal's new collection was mix of dresses, peplums, gowns and trousers with a lot of resort-wear feel to it.

Unlike her past collection, which witnessed heavy usage of flower motifs, this time the garments were kept minimal with lot of hand-woven textures used on it. The background score of thumping drum-beats added drama to the entire show.

"A few months back, I visited Egypt and everything was so overwhelming that I was completely mesmerized," said Dayal.

"I have expressed few of the picturesque moments of Egypt in my collection in the form of prints and cuts. I have used a lot of graphic prints. I went back to my route and worked with some of the weaves from Orissa," she added.

Accessories like flowers on hair and neck pieces added to the overall look of the outfits.

"There were lot of fallen necklaces that were used in the collection. Jewellery played an important role in my work so I worked with flowers. I feel that it's time to enjoy little more hair accessories and I am hoping that his trend will catch up after fashion week," said Dayal.

The designer's collection starts at Rs.3,500 and goes up to Rs.10,000.
