Big B, Aamir: Who'll be 'India's Prime Icon'?

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Aamir Khan are among the contenders for the title of "India's Prime Icon".

BIG CBS PRIME has pitted them as contenders among other known names from various fields for its upcoming show "India's Prime Icon", said a statement from the channel.

Other contenders for the title on the show, expected to start in the third week of June, include Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, A.R. Rahman, Leander Paes, Rahul Gandhi, Kishor Biyani, Adi Godrej, Kapil Dev and Rahul Dravid.

The winner of the title will be decided through audience votes, after the show goes on air.

    Amitabh has become an icon as mega filmstar only ...no doubt about it...but i cant remember any film or show he has done which was not just commercial. he was/is always involved in just money making projects..and it includes both fields "film n non films" but i dont have to give you any examples about Amir's work he has done for the common man,society n his country..my fav one is Taare Zameen Par...so he is the only one to deserve to be called the ICON...hope he wins..where is the voting going on by the way...

    Aamir all the way!!! He does what other never tries to do neither they tried. What has AB done? Most of movies with same stories and nothing new!! Aamir's movies had been nominated in Oscars as well. Love you Aamir :))
