Jodhpur, Jan 2 (IANS) After a day at Rohet Garh, the tallest sand dune in a pan-flat desert land 30 km from here, American pop star Madonna Wednesday night is expected to party with erstwhile Jodhpur ruler Gaj Singh at Sardarsamand, 60 km from here.

Madonna is likely to stay on in the Sadarsamand Palace, now a hotel, for the night, sources said.

The Sardarsamand Palace in Pali is a hunting lodge built Maharaja Umaid Singh built in 1933. The original features of the lodge have been left intact and its vast grounds and impeccable gardens are a delight against the backdrop of the shimmering Sardarsamand Lake that teems with birds.

As impressive as the exteriors are the finely-crafted interiors of this art deco lodge.

Madonna's visit has been kept under wraps and no one is being allowed to photograph her.

The 'Material Girl' accompanied by her husband, son and some family friends arrived in Jaipur Monday afternoon by a chartered flight from Maldives and is expected to spend two or three days in Rajasthan, sources told IANS.

Within hours of her arrival in Jaipur Monday, Madonna flew to Jodhpur for a quiet first day of vacation.

On Tuesday, she rode a horse at The Wilderness Camp in Khandi village near Rohet Garh. The camp has six luxury tents on a small dune in the lap of nature. The small dune happens to be the highest point of an otherwise pan flat landscape.

The tents are luxurious, smart with teakwood polished furniture, rich jute floor rugs. Beautiful inner linings of block prints adorn each tent.

'She is enjoying her vacation. She went for horse riding and also rode a camel for a few minutes,' sources at the camp that offers tented accommodation told IANS.

She was served continental, Indian and traditional Rajasthani food, including Bajra (pearl millet) chapattis (Indian bread) for dinner, sources added.'She liked the traditional food,' sources said.

Special traditional folk songs and dances were held at the camp for her. She enjoyed the fare, sources said.
