Teji Bachchan hospitalised

Mumbai, Nov 7 (IANS) Teji Bachchan, mother of film superstar Amitabh Bachchan, was shifted to the intensive care unit of the Lilavati Hospital here Wednesday. Her condition was reported to be critical.

A spokesperson for the hospital said that her health suddenly worsened and she will be kept under observation till Thursday.

Teji Bachchan, suffering form various ailments, has been in hospital for nearly a year now. Amitabh, his wife Jaya and other family members visited her in the evening.
