FINALLY after 9 years Aishwarya to REUNITE with Abhishek for THIS Film

It's been a long time since we have seen the real-life couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan together on screens.

They created magic on big screen when they teamed up for Guru. The duo was last seen together in Mani Ratnam's film Raavan which was released in 2010.

However, if the latest report in Mid Day is anything to go by then, Abhishek Bachchan has now been finalised to play the titular role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most ambitious project, Sahir Ludhianvi biopic along with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will be seen essaying the role of the poetess Amrita Pritam.

While initially, it all seemed like Shah Rukh Khan has been finalised for the film and that it will mark the much-awaited return of SLB and SRK together.

Soon there came reports of him Irrfan Khan stepping into his shoes.

But now it seems to be confirmed that Aish and Abhishek will finally reunite after 9 years.

Ash had recently also hinted about an exciting project in the offering. "Normally when it comes to announcing my future projects, I leave it to the prerogative of my directors and producers. I have just very recently okayed a wonderful script and idea and character. So, I'll let them make the announcement. And that is to start much later this year," said Aishwarya.

So she might be talking about this film.

Aishwarya and Abhishek were initially to collaborate for Anurag Kashyap's production venture, Gulab Jamun.

Both had even confirmed the same by making an official announcement. However, it was later reported that the two have apparently quit the film due to creative differences regarding the script with the makers of the film.
