Luka Chuppi Records HIGHEST Opening For Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Aaryan has all the reasons to party and celebrate. The actor who started as the Punchnama baby has gone ahead and proved to be box-office's blue-eyed-boy again with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

His latest release Luka Chuppi just proves that he's a superstar in making. Kartik Aaryan's Luka Chuppi has opened with a huge number of 8.01cr at the box-office.

The first-day box-office numbers are out and it proves to exceed every trade pundit's expectations. Being a non-holiday Friday and also with SSC exams beginning, everyone thought that the film would have an average start.

But with Kartik's rising popularity the movie has opened to good numbers. According to reports Kartik's film has raked in 8.01 crores on day one. Now that's a great start to the business.

This proves to be Kartik Aaryan's highest opening ever and it clearly speaks of his stardom.

Last year's sleeper hits Raazi (7.53Cr), Badhaai Ho (7.29cr) and Stree (6.83cr) had managed to make 7.29 crores and 6.82 crores on day one respectively.

This means that Kartik has already broken records on day one and climbing the success rate quite swiftly. Luka Chuppi has been receiving rave reviews and with Monday being a holiday, it will surely rake in more moolah.

As per trade pundits, the numbers are expected to take a huge leap on the weekend as the word of the mouth of the film is very strong.
