SRK has THIS hilarious reason why he cannot work with Akshay Kumar

Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are undoubtedly two of the most talented actors from the 90s that still manage to keep the audience hooked despite being in the Bollywood industry for over two decades. If the former made his mark as the Bollywood's Baadshah and the King of Romance, Akshay emerged as the quintessential action hero. However, to everyone's surprise, the two actors have never collaborated for a project and their fans are waiting for some filmmaker to get them together on the silver screen.

Known for his wit, SRK had a hilarious reply when he was asked during an interview with DNA if he will ever collaborate with Akshay. "What do I say to this? I don't wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I'm a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me," he said.

Well, we all know that while Akshay wakes up early every morning, Shah Rukh is a nocturnal person and prefers to work in the night.

Further adding that if they ever work together, they would never meet on the sets, SRK quipped, "It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga (laughs). He'll be leaving the set and I'll be coming in. I would like to work like Akshay and with him, but our timings won't match."

We couldn't agree more!

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh is yet to announce his next project after Aanand L Rai's Zero. Akshay, on the other hand, has an eclectic mix of films ahead including Kesari, Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Karan Johar's Good News and Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi.
