Ankita on being FRIENDS with Sushant, CITES Ranbir- Deepika's example

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were once one of the most loved couples of the television town, both on and off the screens. However, after dating for more than six long years, the duo parted ways.

Their relationship ended in 2016 and post their break up they never crossed paths. Neither did they speak to each other nor did they speak about each other in media. Not only this, but the ex-lovebirds also made sure to not bump into each other at various industry parties and events.

But, what took everyone by surprise was Sushant's recent compliment for Ankita!

Recently, Ankita had shared her look from her Bollywood debut film, Manikarnika and Sushant commented on the post. He wrote: "It looks absolutely great Ankita. I'm extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness."

Ankita too, very graciously accepted the compliments and replied to him, "Thank you Sushant and I wish You the same."

This social media banter between the exes grabbed many eyeballs and their fans started assuming if the two are reuniting. But, Ankita's recent reaction might quash all the hopes of their fans.

In an interview with Times Now, Ankita was asked whether exes could be friends.

To this, she cited Bollywood's ex-couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's example and said, "Depends on their history. I won't rule it out, Deepika-Ranbir are a case in point."

The actress further made it pretty clear that she and Sushant can never reunite and said, "We are not on talking terms."

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role and is all set to hit the silver screen on January 25, 2019.
