The Bhavnanis knew that Deepika was THE ONE for their Son Ranveer

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer SIngh kept tight lipped about their relationship for as long as they were dating. They just let their families know about their seriousness to get married and no one else knew what was cooking under the wraps. 

In an interview to a leading daily about their love, marriage, and the decision of getting married, Deepika revealed that it happened over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made her believe and feel more and more that he's the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. The foundation of their relationship is just solid friendship and it started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that they have dated, it only became stronger and stronger.

While the two kept thinking that they are best of friends, their friends and family knew that they are head over heels in love. They knew the seriousness of the relationship and knew that they would end up getting hitched. Deepika revealed that when they initially started dating and Ranveer had dengue and he was unwell and she was shooting for 'Finding Fanny' at that time, she would keep travelling back and forth. His family and her friends sort of felt at that point, this was headed towards being together for life. Ranveer's family knew that she was the one for him.

She even talked about them keeping things under wraps. Deepika said that there were so many things going on in their lives that they didn't want anything added to it. Media attention and constant speculations make it tough and they made a conscious choice to avoid it all.
