Did Karan Johar ASK Varun Dhawan NOT to Praise Kangana's Manikarnika?

Varun Dhawan is an avid social media user. He keeps on interacting with his fans and shares numerous sneak peeks from his life and his work with them. Yesterday his fans were in for a delight when he geared up on Twitter to answer some of their questions.

During his chat he talked about his co-stars Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma, his films and his undying love for cereals. Then one of the fans put up a question for him which had us gasping for air. He asked Varun if his mentor, Karan Johar, has asked him not to praise 'Manikarnika'?

Now as we all know Karan Johar and Kangana Ranut are at loggerheads since the day Kangana called Karan the 'Flag Bearer of Nepotism" on his show Koffee with Karan. Later on Karan hit back at her fiercely and blamed Kangana for always playing the victim card. While we never expected Karan Johar to like Manikarnika, we expected a good reply from Varun.

When yesterday he was put up with this question, he handled it really well. Varun had an awesome reply to his fan's query. He said,"No he's not yaa I really loved it #varunsays."

Manikarnika is the story of the valiant queen of Jhansi who fought with the Britishers with all her might. Yesterday it was Manikarnika's trailer release and we were spell bound to see such majestic portrayal of the fight of freedom on screen.
